From Tuesday February 26, 2008 - Ed Young & Fellowship Church

From 2/26/08 - With Ed Young from Fellowship Church in Grapevine, TX

img_0694.jpgWe were honestly very surprised to have been given the opportunity to meet with Ed Young from Fellowship Church.  Their “C3″ Conference had just ended the weekend before and we called last minute to see if there was any chance to stop by and see him…when we heard that we could spend 30 minutes with Ed we were pretty pumped.

Ed made us shots of espresso which probably fueled his seemingly endless energy and creativity that made our time so fun.  We really didn’t know what to expect when we sat down with Ed, but our conversation just flowed and the initial 30 minutes turned into an hour and a half.  We had no idea!!!  But that tells you how easy it was to talk with Ed and open he was in sharing what he has learned as a leader in the church.

To mine the gold that we received from Ed would take too much space on this blog, and written words just don’t do it justice.  Ed’s energy and passion bleed through his communication, and we want to be able to let you hear directly from him…we have captured the essence of all that was shared last Tuesday but because there is so much we have broken them down into three videos:

  1. Ed shares about the power of asking questions…
  2. Ed opens up about the painful topic of betrayal in the church…
  3. When asked, “What would you say to young leaders,” Ed offers 5 points of great wisdom…

We hope you are encouraged!  Follow Ed Young and Fellowship Church at www.fellowshipchurch.com

Video #1 - “Questions”

Video #2 - “Betrayal”

AND JUST FOR FUN

  1. You guys are a bunch of studs! Cheers to the Vanagon as well!

Pastor Ed definitely had some great things to say on the betrayal subject…words of wisdom indeed.

And last but certainly not least…my road trip song submission…”Eye of the Tiger!”
