Quick Story - Craziness Continues!
We were sitting at Times Grill in Jacksonville with Eddie Hastings from Chet’s Creek Baptist Church, John Gordon, author and speaker (more on John later) showed up because he heard we were in town and wanted to say hey. So, Eddie, John, Micah, and LV are sitting at the table when LV decides to order the “Wall of Fame” Burger - a free meal, free tshirt, and picture for the TImes Grill Wall was on the line. LV decided to send a quick update to Twitter (through Facebook) about where we were at and the coming 3lb burger. About 30 minutes later, a guy walks up to the table and asks, “Are you the Catalyst guys?” We all looked at eachother wondering who this guy was and how he found us…we told him we were the Catalyst guys and he introduced himself - Kevin from Access Church, a strategic partner with Northpoint (Atlanta). Kevin got the Twitter update and drove 20 minutes to find us!!! What intended to be a simple dinner with Eddie Hastings turned into a small party with a bunch of guys that, before, didn’t know eachother. We told Eddie that he was the hub! Crazy how technology really can bring people together…
This morning we visited Relevant Media Group in Orlando before sitting down with Dr. Joel Hunter from Northland Church in Longwood, FL. Once again, we are logging our time with these gracious hosts and will be sharing updates and videos with you as they are completed. For now, we just had to share this fun moment and remind you that amidst all of the amazing stories and insight from key leaders across the country we are enjoying the chance to meet individual people from all walks of life in all sorts of random and unexpected environments. The road trip continues!

I’m on a year-long road trip looking at Collegiate Ministry around the U.S. - which included Catalyst last semester! I’d love for our road trips to cross at some point… although I’m not sure I understand what all this “going home every once in a while” stuff is all about…
